I spent Christmas here and really liked the location! It’s super close to public transport, making it so easy to explore the city. The room was cozy and even came with a washing machine, which was a lifesaver. The bed was comfy too, perfect for relaxing after a long day!
But wow, the bathroom situation was a bit of a mess. It flooded every time I showered, and the sound insulation was pretty bad. I could hear everything from the neighboring rooms, which was a total buzzkill for my holiday vibes. Definitely could use some improvements!

We had a great stay at 市政相寓 Taichung Walker. The room was surprisingly spacious and comfortably appointed, featuring a mini-fridge and a handy washing machine. The free water dispensers were a nice touch, and the location was perfect, close to transit. we did find that the shower flooded the bathroom a bit, and the daily cleaning was minimal. I’d recommend this hotel!

We recently stayed at a hotel in Taichung and we had a great experience. the room was spacious for two people and it had all the amenities we needed such as a TV set, kettle, and a nice shower. We also appreciated the washing machine/dryer included with soap powder. the bed was very comfortable. the hotel was located in a great area close to the main streets of the city, so it was easy to access public transportation. We loved the fact that there was free bus access up to 4km and that there was an Ubike station nearby.
The only downside we experienced was that the walls were a bit thin, which resulted in us being able to hear sounds from the TV and people talking on phones from the room next to ours. We recommend bringing a pair of earplugs to ensure a good night's sleep.

The hotel's central location made it incredibly convenient to explore the town. Being just across the narrow street from the city center meant that everything was within walking distance. Additionally, the staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay. The basic amenities provided in the well-designed rooms were appreciated, especially the inclusion of a washer/dryer with soap powder. These thoughtful details made it a great value for money option.
The hotel could consider improving the soundproofing of the rooms.

Located in a bustling area with many nearby shops and restaurants, this hotel is a great base for exploring the town. We loved that it was just across the street from a Family Mart and 7-11, making it very convenient.
The lack of signage on the building made it difficult to find the hotel at first and caused some frustration.

Spent Xmas in this simple hotel and loved it! The sheets were fresh and the room was clean. The washing machine and washing powder were a huge plus for us. , the manager was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is in a great area, close to several Family Mart and 7-11 stores, and just a few minutes from good food choices.
Our only concern was that the air conditioning unit was a bit noisy. , the location was a bit hard to find at first, as there was no hotel name sign outside the building, and some of the explanations were in Chinese only.
